I. Awakening I woke up in this place So dry and so hot I just cannot understand Why am I here? The sunlight is strong While I am alone I got to choose a direction To come Back Home There is no sign of life In this ocean of sand I ain't got nothing with me But I just want to survive I have to stand up and run If I don't want to die here I am challenged by the sun And my will to survive I am stuck in the Desert of Death I have one thing in head It's an optimist thought If I choose any way I should find something for me I am dreaming of an Oasis Or a Path to the City But wait a minute what do I see? It's a giant caravan I am stuck in the Desert of Death II. Caravan I am now riding a camel The heart filled with hope In this troubled world we travel And I'm the last in line But it seems to me That we are Going to town And I just can't wait To rejoin the city, yeah I don't want to be Left again On my own I don't want to be Left again ON MY OWN I am asking myself Who's leading the caravan? But when I ask for him Nobody answers And when I ask again Nobody knows Nobody cares I am asking myself Where is going the caravan? Yeah But when I ask for it Nobody answers And when I ask again Nobody cares NOBODY KNOWS III. Wandering I asked to another man How did you decide to be here He said it wasn't a choice He'd need it to come Back Home The man arrived in the Desert just like me He did wake up here and started walking Until he saw the caravan Until he thought he was saved Then I understood what was happening I felt I would never be Back Home I was here in another world I was wandering in the Desert of Death I am stuck in the Desert of Death A situation that makes me lose my breath
2.
After hours and hours, travelling I realised the sun wasn't moving We were like into a never-ending scene A giant caravan Making its way to nowhere Into an unknown infinite desert Into a forgotten world The sun is a powerful beater An never-ever stopping heater We cross the dunes of melting sand Our cheeks are sweating During this Eternal Zenith Into this unknown infinite desert Into this forgotten world The sunlight is still strong Continue to ride along Into the Desert Desert of Death The situation is at its worse now But I think there is still hope for us to survive Because what I see is almost like a dream There is a sign of water in the distance We're saved, we still have a chance We're saved, we still have a chance….

Oasis 04:25
We are now in paradise We have reached an Oasis We can finally drink to This fountain of happiness WELCOME TO THE OASIS WHERE DREAMS BECOME REALITY There's plenty of food to harvest And enough shadow to rest It brought us from wanderers To wealthy life believers Everyone finds his count In the blessing of the Oasis Everybody is healed And no one can complain THAT'S THE CHANCE OF A LIFE COME ON DOWN! AND GET PLAYING WITH US Is this all we're looking for? In this new forever home Lovely palpable mirage Fishes in an aquarium Everyone finds his count In the blessing of the Oasis Everybody is healed And no one can complain Everyone finds his count In the blessing of the Oasis Everybody wants to stay But we can't stay forever No we can't stay forever I presume the caravan won't leave Most of the men are still enjoying the place But I know we cannot stay here eternally I have decided to leave the Oasis And try to find a Path to the City The key to free myself From the mysterious Desert of Death
4.
I am still in this place So dry and so hot I still cannot understand Why am I here? The sunlight is strong While I am alone I got to choose a direction To come Back Home I know it will be long I have the determination Fueled by my will to survive I'll walk 'til my feet burn I believe a city exists I only have to keep searching Fueled by my faith in life I will walk until my last breathe comes Hoping this won't be my last farewell I can feel the beginning of a brisk A brisk that helps me going on But I know this is a poisonous gift Just like the Oasis have been A Sandstorm is coming soon A Sandstorm is coming soon…
5.
The Sandstorm Rises Taking every possibilities out I have to hide and wait It's the only way out [He has to hide and wait It's the only wait out Will he die? Because the Sandstorm Wants to send him buried deep] There is this uncanny cave Will it eat me? Will it save me? I can't say! But the Sandstorm wants to send me buried deep
6.
[Instrumental]
7.
The storm is over The sand has fallen The dunes have displaced The sun recovered its full power I stand again now I walk again now I stand again now I walk again now Nothing can stop me now I know this way's the right I feel I am going straight Straight to the city I stand again now I walk again now I stand again now I walk again now The Desert can't achieve me I will stay strong against it No, Death cannot come to me My will is too strong beside it Is this real? Or my imagination No, This is true There's a sign of life out there Yes, There is smoke rising in the sky Somebody's chimney is guiding me Straight to the city, yeah After passing through the gates I realised I wasn't home yet I had to know where I was To come Back to my Home After passing through the gates I felt like I was a lonely soldier As a stranger to this town I won't be welcome here But for now, I don't know where I am in this world Maybe, I am into a far, Forgotten Civilization
8.
I. Contemplation The whole city here Is built on the sand My old lost caravan Should have lead us there Never been in this town before But still feel familiar I'm still lost, I'm still scared I'm still thirsty as hell I'm still not out of the Desert of Death II. Synergy The streets are full of people There is an energy That emerge from this town This flow seems to enter into a lower zone Following the masses Drawing near something unknown Where do they all go? I can see, I am there It's majestic There's a beautiful, gigantic Colorful fountain Which is the center of activities III. Unwelcomed At the main fountain, Drinking a drop of water Stared by strangers A creep for the civilians So disrespectful So-called human beings I am the stranger "This guy's not welcomed here" Going, to the bazaar Hoping, unexpectedly I can find answers To my unsolved questions Quickly, I found An old woman An antiquarian Who held a little shop "Hey you! Come here, we got to talk" Strangely, I knew I had already met her But I wasn't able To say when, or where "I knew you would come I was waiting for you" Who are you? "Can't you remember?" I can't recall but... Where are we? IV. Witch speech "We're into a painted world Absolutely Born from the painted landscape We are actually in a framework Into a living painting" "You have witnessed The power of pictures If you believe in a world you see You can be transported into it Just like what happened to you We established contact with this world" How can I Find My Way Back Home? Am I stuck here eternally? I can't see light within your story I don't want to stay here on my own V. Imagery "Think to where you're from Take a mental picture of it I know you can remember this I believe you trust in your world You can find your painted home And go back to where you come from But don't forget lad There are thousands more You will lose yourself" Here is where the worlds are stored You know it's everywhere the same I'm living in each one of them It's my own immortality You can see there is no real world Only parallel universe And one last thing lad What you need is here Right in your head" VI. Seeking I put all my fears and doubts aside My picture was far And I sought within my mind My picture.... In my ultimate research In this imaginary world Doubting of what's really real While any false move... Can throw me into a distorted world I put all my will and faith ahead My picture was coming And I sought within my mind My picture was made I found it! VII. Finding My Way Oh, I appeared in an antiquities shop I was finally back in my world No longer stuck in the Desert of Death In the Desert of Death In the Desert of Death In the Desert of Death

Back Home 02:45
I woke up doubtfully But walked down faithfully I've been a wanderer Been part of a caravan Cortege of the Eternal Zenith Then we found the Oasis First fountain of life I am finally here Back Home Free from the thirst and heat I am finally here Back Home Free from the Desert of Death I have been Wandering Again Under the static hot sun I had to Find My Way And go through a Sandstorm Hidden into the uncanny cave But found a Path to the city Second fountain of life I am finally here Back Home Free from the thirst and heat I am finally here Back Home Free from the Desert of Death Free from the Desert It's the end of my Journey Free from the Desert of Death Oh Yeah!
